Have you ever wanted to see an exam through the examiner’s eyes? Or wondered how the assessment criteria and attainment descriptors are applied? Or have you wanted someone to take you through the process of booking or organising exams? If so, our Drama Continued Professional Development (CPD) and support sessions could be just what you are looking for!
At Trinity we are always looking for ways to support teachers who are delivering our exams and build on our existing drama support offer which includes regular webinars, where we focus on topics relating to our exams, a range of teaching and learning resources, and our online Anthology which contains diverse, international material suitable for use in Trinity Drama exams.
To extend our support offer for Drama, if you are a teacher at a registered Trinity private centre in the UK and Ireland, or considering becoming a private centre, we can provide one-to-one online support sessions covering common practical queries such as:
- How to book and enrol candidates using the centre portal
- What to expect on your face-to-face exam day
- How to submit digital exams
- Overview of the drama syllabus specifications including task requirements
Sessions last approximately 15-30 minutes. Book a session by completing our request form.
As well as our support sessions, we also provide an Understanding the Mark Scheme CPD session for new and existing drama customers in the UK and Ireland. This is a practical session involving using the assessment descriptors to mark example drama exam candidates. Understanding the Mark Scheme supports you to understand the Trinity diagnostic mark scheme and apply it to your teaching, so whether you are new to Trinity Drama, or keen to upskill, this session will be useful to you.
This session can last between 60-90 minutes. If you would like to make a request for a session please use our request form.
If you are completely new to Trinity, but are interested in learning more about registering as a private centre, or Trinity’s drama offer in general, you could book in a call with our Business Development team to find out more.
If you are interested in hosting CPD or training for larger groups of drama teachers or practitioners (either online or in person) please get in touch and we would be happy to explore bespoke options for your group.
