Becoming a Trinity Champion Centre is an exciting opportunity for centres that deliver Trinity College London’s Music, Drama and Arts Award qualifications. It showcases your dedication to delivering Trinity’s exams to a high standard and opens up a range of exciting opportunities. In this blog, we explore some of the benefits of being a Trinity Champion Centre…

Boost your centre’s profile

Being named a Trinity Champion Centre puts you in the spotlight! It’s a badge of excellence that tells students, parents and the community that your institution excels in delivering Trinity qualifications. This recognition can help attract new students and partnerships while giving staff and learners a sense of pride.

Champion Centres also get showcased in Trinity’s blogs, webinars and promotional campaigns. Your success stories, creative teaching methods and student achievements can reach a wider audience, raising your profile even more. Trinity Champion Centres are also included in Trinity's yearly announcement blog, ensuring continued recognition.

Involvement in new initiatives

As a Trinity Champion Centre, you can be part of exciting new product launches and photoshoots. Your students and teachers may get first-hand experience with Trinity’s latest developments and even feature in promotional materials. There are also opportunities to contribute to case studies, interviews and best practice guides.

Funding for events

Champion Centres can apply for up to £250 in funding for networking or showcase events. Whether you host a performance night or networking session, this funding can help make it happen. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate your work and connect with others in the arts education community. You can see some recent examples of how this funding has been used to put on events here

Official certificate and logo

Trinity Champion Centres receive an official certificate and logo from Trinity College London to display in their centre and on promotional materials. This recognition reinforces your credibility and commitment to excellence, helping you stand out.

Community engagement

Being a Trinity Champion Centre isn’t just about recognition; it’s about inspiring others. You can advocate for Trinity exams in your area, collaborate with institutions, and make a bigger impact in your community. Many Trinity Champion Centres use their status to host workshops, performances and outreach programs that benefit their wider networks.

Celebrate your hard work

Above all, being a Trinity Champion Centre celebrates the dedication and talent of your students and staff. It’s recognition for your effort in delivering top-quality arts education and a chance to share your success. What our Trinity Champion Centres say

Here’s what some of our current Music and Drama Trinity Champion Centres have to say…

Big Red Curtain Performing Arts

‘Being a Trinity Champion Centre has helped immensely with our profile and helping to promote Trinity to any new students and also to recognise our students’ achievements in our advertising and their outstanding results over the past year. We have used the Champion status to help us promote our new school opening in York and hopefully, if we are successful again this year, to help us open another theatre school training students in Knaresborough. We also as a Champion Centre hold every year an afternoon of presentation of awards with cups and trophies paid for by Trinity for the high achievers in their Drama and Musical Theatre Exams and Diplomas.’

East London School of Music

‘As a Champion Centre over the past year, we have garnered the interest of fellow educators and music students who are impressed by our reliable performance and high pass rate in Trinity exams. Our pass rate has consistently remained at approximately 97% for the last nine years.’

The Godolphin and Latymer School

The status reassures our parents that we are skilled at delivering Trinity exams and helps to justify our choice of the Trinity College London exam syllabus. We feel it inspires confidence in students and teachers and allows us insight into the creation of the graded syllabi.’

Becoming a Trinity Champion Centre is a chance to gain recognition while accessing exciting opportunities like funding, promotional features and involvement in new initiatives.
